NEW! FOR 2008 (H.R. 5140 02-08-2008) Section 179 Federal Income Tax Deduction: This deduction allows a company to deduct the first $250,000 of equipment (H.R. 5140 Section 179 Property) purchased in 2008 from their taxable income. For companies purchasing (or leasing - with a $1.00 buy-out lease) up to $800,000 of equipment in 2008, this deduction is available in full. It then phases out on a dollar-for-dollar basis between $800,000 and $1,050,000 and it is not available for companies purchasing over $1,050,000 of equipment in 2008. Companies can finance purchases over $800,000 with an operating lease and may still be able to claim this deduction. The provision allows an additional first-year depreciation deduction equal to 50 percent of the adjusted basis of qualified equipment. There was a Persistent JavaScript Error on the Main Page, which was finally tracked to Our Web Site Statistics Host. Seems a script on their remote host had errors in it. Since I couldn't contact them to correct the error, I am now looking for a New Site Statistics host. There was also a persistent JavaScript Error on the Main Stock List, this bug was finally found and removed. Turned out to be an old section of code used to debug the disclaimer page. It was looking for a non-existent variable. Due to some slight misinterpretation of the wording on the Service and Parts web sites and Pages, It was mistakenly concluded that Credit cards could be used for Other than SERVICE and PARTS related expenses. Credit Cards ARE NOT accepted for any type of purchase through the WEB SITE. Credit cards are ONLY accepted for SERVICE and PARTS related expenses.
